Who May Be Suitable for SIL?
Supported Independent Living is generally designed for NDIS participants with higher support needs who require significant assistance throughout the day.

Can I Keep a Trusted Support Worker?
One of the biggest concerns participants can have when changing providers is losing a support worker they already know and trust.
Consistency matters. Familiar workers often understand your routines, communication style and individual preferences.
Where appropriate, Steadway can explore whether an existing worker may be able to become part of your new support arrangement.
Any worker joining Steadway must still successfully complete our usual recruitment, screening and compliance requirements.
This allows us to explore continuity of support without compromising safety or professional standards.
